We are looking for strong candidates to support a new 60+ FTE full lifecycle Systems Engineering and Software Development Prime program supporting the SIGINT Processing and Mission Management of globally deployed systems. Enterprise-level systems engineering and architecture support, development, integration, deployment and sustainment activities and provision and maintenance of architecture and standards for an enterprise-level organization that is required to meet the strategic and tactical operational requirements of the organization. Provision and maintenance of systems engineering design services, development and Deployment of mission systems and applications and the ability to provide and maintain systems development, engineering, integration, evaluation and testing and lab management for an enterprise-level organization.
Provide life cycle support for Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) applications that run on Linux and Windows operating systems. Analyzes user’s requirements, concept of operations documents, and high level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications. Analyzes system requirements and leads design and development activities. Guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies. Provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology. Incorporates new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations. Develops technical documentation. Develops system Architecture and system design documentation. Guides system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans. Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts. Ultimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibility. Communicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.
Six (6) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required. Ten (10) years experience in Linux systems operation or administration. Five (5) years experience using and implementing SIGINT technologies. Five (5) years experience integrating, testing, and deploying software. Three (3) years experience in scripting experience in BASH, Perl, or similar
Additional required experience for this level:
Information Assurance: Must have completed and remain current on all Cyberspace Workforce Improvement Program (CWIP)/Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program (IAWIP) certification requirements.
