    Requirements

    To provide information system security support to multiple teams in a fast paced environment. Requires ability to write Information System Security Plans and ensure compliance with NIST Risk Management Framework (FMF). Interpret security process and standards in working through authorization and security processes. Work closely with Information System Security Engineers, Information System Security Managers, Information System Security Offices and other personnel to ensure RMF aligns with the development lifecycle. Verify required security artifacts are delivered as to not cause delays in the deployment schedule. Additional activities to be supported (not all inclusive); retiring System Security Plans (SSPs), updating SSPs, documenting sanitization procedures, perform/assist system security audits, acquisition security processing, monitor activities for Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVA), support system decommissioning activities, coordinate sanitization procedures for Information Storage Media (ISMs), document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), support IATT/IATO.ATO documentation and approvals, and monitoring export compliance.

     

    • This position also requires the selected candidate to assist government or other contracted employees in writing project compliance and systems engineering documentation, supporting technical discussion, documenting training, developing CONOPS or other technical documentation to support ongoing development activities.

    The following special technical skills are also REQUIRED:

     

    • Experience writing Information System Security Plans
    • Ability to coordinate and resolve POA&M items
    • Ability to analyze certification and accreditation of classified computer systems
    • Understanding of information security requirements associated with deploying systems/software operationally and to lab/livedev systems
    • Strong communication skills; experience working across multiple organizations and supporting multiple teams/branches
    • Experience with IAVA compliance, standards, and documentation
    • Familiarity with identification of security related risks and/or vulnerabilities
    • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics or similar degree is required. Four (4) years of experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.
    • Fourteen (14) years experience in a technical role, providing technical expertise for software intensive projects and programs, of which a desired three (3) years within the Intelligence Community.
    • At least five (5) years experience with Programming languages such as: JAVA, C++, or C
    • Must currently hold a TS\SCI with Polygraph Clearance!

    Additional Requirements / Qualifications

    The following special technical skills are also PREFERRED but not required:

     

    • CISSP certification
    • Ability to perform Security File transfer procedures and users requests from low to high in accordance with standard security practices
    • Experience with system decommission plans/procedures; retiring SSPs
    • Perform/support System Auditor functions
    • Go software for new software purchases
    • Knowledge and use of processing Acquisition Security Forms (ASF)
