  • Design, configure, implement and deploy SharePoint custom solutions to support business processes using SharePoint 2013 out-of-the-box capabilities and SharePoint Designer 2013
    • Design/develop custom content types to support, enhance and facilitate business processes and related data
    • Design/develop custom views and calculations to enhance business and process related metrics
    • Design/develop custom dashboards using out-of-the-box capabilities and SharePoint designer
    • Design/develop custom workflows using out-of-the-box capabilities and SharePoint Designer to enhance, support and facilitate business processes
    • Develop custom Data View Web Parts using SharePoint designer
  • Provide support for deployed custom SharePoint solutions and workflows
  • Provide support for and develop web pages and components using JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, .CSS and/or PHP, some of which may need to also interface with SharePoint
  • Participate in and sometimes lead business solution design presentations and reviews
  • Provide peer feedback and technical support to other SharePoint designers and participate in design team process improvement efforts
  • Provide SharePoint technical support and mentoring for project team members, customers, external stakeholders and other designers
  • Collaborate with customers, external support and technical teams to ensure SharePoint development efforts integrate with Enterprise SharePoint architecture and web framework
  • Define and plan SharePoint solution releases
  • Develop and maintain graphics and branding used in web based business solutions and other forms of organizational documentation and templates
  • Create and maintain project documentation, presentations, tracking, and task related artifacts in Microsoft Word, SharePoint, Excel, Visio and PowerPointNo travel is anticipated in the performance of this task.
  • Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
  • Seven (7) years experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity within the Federal Government is required. 

Clearance: Must currently hold a TS\SCI with Polygraph



Additional Requirements / Qualifications

The following special technical skills are also REQUIRED:

  • Three or more years of experience with designing and implementing custom business solutions using SharePoint 2013/2010 Out-Of-The-Box capabilities and/or SharePoint Designer, configuring SharePoint sites, sub-sites and user permissions, and managing SharePoint site collections
  • Three or more years of experience with SharePoint tools in 2007/2010/2013 including: Site Definitions, Web Parts, Custom Navigation, Content Types, Search Features, Master Pages, Site Templates and Page Layouts, SharePoint Designer
  • Knowledge and a minimum of two or more years of applied experience supporting an Enterprise-wide instantiation of SharePoint 2007/2010/2013 with Site Collection permissions
  • Solid general understanding of SharePoint Architecture (Managed paths, site collections, sites, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of and at least three years of practical experience in how to implement permissions in SharePoint within a site collection as well as within business solution designs
  • Strong understanding and at least one year of demonstrated experience in using Javascript and/or JQuery to develop web parts, workflows or applications within a web based and/or SharePoint environment
  • Two or more years of experience in gathering customer requirements; leading customer process or requirements gathering sessions or technical exchanges; defining and documenting processes, workflows and requirements for future implementation in software components

The following special technical skills are also PREFERRED but not required:


  • Non-SharePoint website design experience
  • Graphics development experience
  • Understanding of the corporate instantiation of SharePoint within the client environment
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint ‘content type’ based workflows for the creation, routing and management of documents in SharePoint
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint managed metadata
  • Understanding and experience in applying software control and change management techniques to software or systems development efforts
  • Experience in general software/system engineering techniques
  • Knowledge of general web-based architectures and technology, and organizational development and design
  • Experience in defining and modeling business processes and workflows and identifying mechanisms and approaches for process improvement and/or automation
  • Experience performing technical analysis of new and existing capability requirements focusing on mission needs and functional requirements
